Also, if I buy a muscle/pony car, it'll be a Mustang. I could probably get a good deal on a V6 Challenger, but I'd rather go Mustang anyway.

I'd favor one or the other, if I was looking to buy one, as well. The Camaro might be stupidly fast in ZL1 or Z28 attire, but I just can't like it, for some reason...

Oh yeah, it's because of this... terrible, terrible song about a dude who inherits some money from his father, buys a yellow Camaro and becomes a success with the ladies because of the car. It's not a parody, it's not satire, it's a completely sincere ode to using dead father's money to pick up girls with an expensive car.

My mother had a 1991 Camaro RS and my father had a 1969 Camaro "Z/28"(originally a 327 Powerglide, but a previous owner swapped in a 350, repainted it, and added Z badging). The 69 got me into cars so I've always been partial to Camaros but I prefer Mustangs. I'm looking at an Ecoboost as my next car.

I think the current ones are the only ones I'm not so fond of... Early Camaros were awesome! I maintain that the 1968 Camaro, with its clean, muscular lines, remains one of the most beautiful cars ever made.

I've always preferred the 67 and 68 to the 69. The 69 took the same basic design and injected some steroids, but the first two years are beautiful and under appreciated.
